Common name:  White Monterey Lilac

Special notes:  Birds and butterflies love this rare evergreen shrub which is covered in white balls of flower clusters in spring.  Deer do not like its leathery, holly-like leaves.  Rinse leaves off every week or so in summer for best appearance.
