Special Notes: This rare, shade-loving cycad comes from the cloud forests of Mexico. New leaves are a beautiful bronze, turning to green as they grow to 6 feet long, with a red-brown trunk growing to the size of a basketball. Tolerant of light frosts, this cycad needs good drainage, summer water, regular fertilizer and partial to full shade.
