Special Notes: This NE Mexican cycad makes a delightful addition to Bay Area gardens. It is one of the most outstanding cold-hardy cycads for dry sun or shade. To 3' by 4' across. Not fussy about soil type and drought tolerant. Syn.: Dioon edule var. angustifolium.
